Returns :Do you accept returns? Due to the nature of the costume business, all sales are final. We do not accept returns. Please use the sizing information listed and choose your items accordingly. If you have questions regarding the costume please ask prior to purchasing.
Exchanges :Do you accept exchanges? We do not accept exchanges or returns. Please use the sizing information listed and choose your items accordingly. If you have questions regarding the costume please ask prior to purchasing. If your item arrives damaged or flawed, contact us immediately so we can correct the problem.
Shipping: How soon can I expect my order to arrive? Bday Parties recommends allowing 2 weeks for costumes and supplies to arrive after a purchase is made. If you need your order sooner than that, please call 800-677-0168 to request expedited processing and shipping. A $10 expedited processing charge may apply.
Reserving a Rental Costume: How far in advance do I need to rent a costume? Our character costumes book up 4-6 weeks ahead of time. In order to guarantee your favorite character will be available for your party date, we recommend reserving the costume 6 weeks ahead of time. Your reservation is held with a credit card, and your credit card will not be charged until the costume is actually packaged and shipped. Reservations can be made by phone or on-line by adding the item to the cart, entering the party date, and completing the check-out process.
Cleaning Question: Do I have to wash the costumes before returning rentals? Answer: : No. Bday Parties LLC will take care of that for you. Many of our character costumes require special cleaning and care.
Form of Payment Question: What form of payment do you accept? Answer: Cash, Check, and all major Credit Cards
Age Question: My child is only turning 3 years old. Do you have a minimum age? Answer: No. Bday Parties LLC believes that your child's party should be memorable for everyone attending the party.
Girls & Boys Question: I want to have a Princess Party for my daughter. Can boys attend too? Can girls attend the Pirate Parties? Answer: Bday Parties LLC has a variety of costumes and costume sets to choose from. Knight, Pirate and Super Hero costumes for the boys and girls could be princesses, or fairies.
Dressing Question: What should the children wear? Answer: Most of the costumes provided by Bday Parties LLC are designed to go over the child's own clothes. No one gets undressed. For the best possible fit and for comfort, Bday Parties LLC suggests girls wear leotards or swimsuits. However, this is not mandatory. The GIRL invitations should contain the following note: Formal Princess attire for the Little Ladies will be provided at the party. For faster costuming, consider wearing a leotard or bathing suit.
Eating Question: Can the children eat while wearing the costumes? Answer: If the costume is being rented from Bday Parties LLC, you should not be eating in the costume. Our rental costumes are high quality character costumes. If the costumes are wearable party favors for the kids to keep then it is up to the parents whether or not the children should keep the costumes on during eating. Getting ready to eat cake and ice cream provides the perfect excuse for taking off the costumes. The best parties come from being flexible based on what the children want to do.
Damage Question: Am I responsible for damage of the costumes? Answer: You are responsible for damage to rental costumes and rental character costumes. Normal wear is epxected, however, if there is intentional damage (shredding or painting the costumes) or unusually extreme situations, Bday Parties LLC does expect compensation for the damage.
Deposit Question: How do you determine the security deposit for costume rentals?Answer: The security deposit is to encourage the return of the costumes in a timely manner and in good condition. You are not charged for normal wear and tear. Kids running around stepping on hems or pulling seams when dressing is normal. However, if the damage is negligent or intentional (shredding or painting the costumes), you will not receive your security deposit back and you WILL be responsible for ADDITIONAL charges for the replacement cost. The security deposit is NOT the same as the purchase price.
Tax Question: Do your prices include tax or is that extra? Answer: Tax is charged on purchases of items and supplies in Kansas.
